Cable Net and Wire Mesh Installation

Whether utilizing helicopters, cranes, winch/pulley systems, or extendable forklifts, Midwest Rockfall has the unique experience and technical knowledge to place a wide variety of rockfall protection systems in difficult access areas.

Rock Bolts

Midwest Rockfall has the ability to place rock bolts in challenging places by using cranes, drill platforms, and winching systems. We can install patterned rock bolts on steep rock faces, providing the highest level of protection in the most extreme cases of instability.

Rock Scaling

With the use of airbags, hydraulic portapowers, rock splitters, and scaling along with ourhighly-trained personnel, Midwest Rockfall, Inc. can successfully undertake any rockfall problem safely and efficiently.

Rockfall Fences

For significant  rockfall problems, Midwest Rockfall, Inc. installs high-impact fencing. These fences can be placed on the slope by using helicopters or cranes for higher slopes or along highways and roadways by extendareach forklift

Shotcrete

Midwest Rockfall, Inc. has successfully applied shotcrete in limited access areas to provide additional stabilization to highly unstable rock faces. Midwest has also sculpted shotcrete in areas where maintaining visual continuity was highly desirable by the owner.

Slope Monitoring

Midwest Rockfall, Inc. can install special devices, such as crack meters to detect any potentially hazardous rock face movement. This allows for quicker responses to install the appropriate mitigation solutions to prevent potential rockfalls.
